Quick and easy paella

Quick and easy paella

Ingredients

  • 250g of partly cooked long-grain rice
  • 16 slices of chorizo
  • 1 chicken fillet, cut into cubes
  • 200g of peeled prawns
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 courgette
  • 100g of cherry tomatoes
  • 100g of garden peas
  • Paella seasoning
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

 

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  2. Brown off the finely chopped onion.
  3. Add the rice, the chorizo, the chicken and the paella seasoning.
  4. Continue cooking for 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Incorporate the courgette, the finely chopped garlic and the cherry tomatoes. Pour in 75cl of hot water and cover and cook for about 15 minutes, until the liquid is fully absorbed.
  6. Add the prawns, the peas and cook for a further 5 minutes.
